My name is Ila Jean Skore. I was born on February 18, 1979 to Scott and Barbara Mitchell. I have one sister, Leila Rene. She is four years younger than me and we grew up in the town of Kenai, Alaska. I attended elementary school and high school with the same group of kids from the time I was 5 to age 18. I graduated Kenai Central High School in 1997....moved to Anchorage and attended UAA, studying mostly Psychology and Theatre. I met Tom Skore in 1999 and we married on August 19, 2005. I work for a wonderful organization called Southcentral Foundation where I am a Clinical Associate II Intake Coordinator during the work week. Southcentral Foundation co-owns and manages the Alaska Native Medical Center along with the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium. The program within SCF that I work with is called The Pathway Home which is a 24hr residential treatment center for Alaska Native or American Indian teenagers ages 13 to 18. I am also an Independent Beauty Consultant for Mary Kay. I also sell DoTerra Essential Oils and accessories. Visit my web pages under my LINKS on this page.
I absolutely love living in Alaska and enjoy all the seasons here. I love camping and hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. Tom built and owns his own airplane, a STOL CH701 Zenith that he manufactured in the garage...We love to go flying around Alaska. Tom has been a pilot for over 40 years and has flown in many places. We also love traveling, a favorite is always Hawaii, a beautiful place to go spend time on the beach. In my time away from work, I enjoy arts and crafts. I do beadwork, drawings, paintings, scrapbooking, collage, photography, and I also enjoy reading and writing. I have been a student of local artists Don Kolstad and Diann Haist. Cooking and baking are also favorite past times. I enjoy working with and finding new recipes.
My dad and my sister still live in Kenai and it is one of my favorite road trips to drive there and visit them. My dad and his partner Jan have their own assisted living business, Robin Place Elder Care, in Soldotna. And my sister is the proud mother of two adorable kiddos, Kaizen Harlow and Wren Rene...who are just a little bit spoiled. I do not have kids of my own. We live in Beautiful Eagle River, Alaska which is close enough to the city for everything you need but far enough away that you still feel like you live out in nature. The Eagle River Nature Center is an all time favorite place to visit and we go often...especially in the summer when we rent the yurts.
That is a little about me. Feel free to browse this site.
BIG LUV AND GOD BLESS YOU,
